Paul Quinn College

Paul Quinn College is a private, historically black college in Dallas, Texas. It was founded in 1872, making it the oldest historically black college in the southwest United States. The college initially offered theological and literary courses to young African American men. Since 1990, it has transformed from a junior college to a four-year college offering baccalaureate and master’s degrees. Today, Paul Quinn College offers an excellent academic program focusing on a liberal arts education and offers an emphasis on quality business, educational and theological programs. The college has received worldwide recognition and accreditation for its commitment to community service and leadership. Its campus is home to a number of award-winning student organizations, and its students receive accolades for their community involvement, including numerous national awards and recognition in the past several years.
