Davis & Elkins College is an independent, four-year, liberal arts college located in Elkins, West Virginia. It is one of only seven colleges in the nation to be named an official National Collegiate Historic District in recognition of its architectural and cultural heritage. Established in 1904, Davis & Elkins College is a small and nurturing learning community that fosters an atmosphere of academic excellence and student growth, as well as unique interdisciplinary learning opportunities through its nationally recognized Hilltop Scholars program. The college offers majors in business, education, health sciences, media, theatre, science and technology, and the humanities. In addition, Davis & Elkins College provides an array of internships and research experiences for students, as well as an active student life and vibrant athletics for over 1,000 students.
