Norwich University

Norwich University is a private university located in Northfield, Vermont and one of the six senior military colleges in the United States. It was founded in 1819 by Captain Alden Partridge and is the oldest private military college in the country. The university offers a wide variety of academic programs and degrees such as liberal arts, business, engineering, and nursing, as well as its renowned ROTC program. Norwich values the commitment to its military heritage and has a well-developed Corps of Cadets that actively participates in many aspects of university life. Norwich also offers many experiential opportunities for its students through internships and programs such as study abroad.
