Wiley College

Wiley College is a private, four-year historically Black liberal arts college located in Marshall, Texas. Founded in 1873 by Bishop Isaac Wiley and trained teachers from Freedman’s Aid Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church, the college has contributed to the excellent education of thousands of students. Wiley College is recognized for its Centennial Celebration of opening its doors for students in the academic year of 1873 and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The college offers a variety of degree programs, such as accounting, business administration, communications, criminal justice, and computer technology. With a diverse student population hailing from countries all around the world, Wiley College offers an array of cultural, social, and educational activities to its students.
