Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is located in Murfreesboro, TN, and is the largest undergraduate university in the state. Founded in 1911, MTSU is composed of seven colleges and offers more than 150 programs of study leading to masters, doctorate and education specialist degrees. The university is nationally recognized for its aerospace, music, production, and health science programs, and is one of the fastest-growing universities in the south. The university is home to several unique facilities such as the Aerospace Department, Floyd Stadium, and the College of Entertainment and Music Business.
