Alvernia University is a private, Franciscan university located in Reading, Pennsylvania. Founded by the Franciscan Friars in 1958, Alvernia University is dedicated to academic excellence and community service. Alvernia offers more than 40 undergraduate majors and five master’s degree programs in seven academic schools.
