Elizabeth City State University is a historically black university located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Founded in 1891, ECSU is part of the University of North Carolina system, and is made up of four academic departments: Business, Education, and Human Performance & Arts, and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. The university offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees in areas such as business, engineering, computer science, education, and nursing.
