College of St. Rose

The College of St. Rose is an independent, private, coeducational college located in Albany, New York. Founded in 1920 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, the College was originally a women’s college, becoming co-educational in 1970. St. Rose offers a challenging academic culture with over 60 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs in the Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Music and Mathematics, and Health Administration. With an active and engaged campus community, the College promotes academic excellence, civic responsibility, personal growth and creative expression in an inclusive environment. With small class sizes and accessible faculty, St. Rose allows students to participate in hands-on learning, participate in research with professors or internships in the field.
