Dartmouth College

Dartmouth College is a private Ivy League research university located in Hanover, New Hampshire. Founded in 1769, it is the nation’s ninth-oldest college and is one of the eight original Colonial Colleges established before the American Revolution. With an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,400 students and a total enrollment of 6,500 students, Dartmouth is one of the smallest universities in the Ivy League. It offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the liberal arts, sciences, and business and engineering disciplines. Dartmouth’s motto, “Vox clamantis in deserto,” means “a voice crying out in the wilderness.” Dartmouth is dedicated to providing rigorous academic training, experiential learning, and community engagement.
