Central Methodist University is a private university located in Fayette, Missouri. It was established in 1889 by the Methodist Episcopal Church. It is part of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The university serves over 6,000 traditional and adult learners from all 50 states and more than 40 countries. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and Doctor of Education degrees, as well as numerous other certificate and degree options, through its five schools and 20 academic divisions.
