Rust College

Rust College is a historically black college located in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Founded in 1866, Rust College is one of the oldest African American educational institutions in the United States and one of the first four colleges to be established in the state of Mississippi. Rust College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and offers associate and baccalaureate degrees in a variety of academic areas. Through its commitment to small class sizes, Rust College provides an intimate learning environment in which the individual student can excel. The college also offers an array of student activities and organizations, ranging from student government and volunteer organizations to NCAA Division III athletics. For more than 150 years, Rust College has been providing quality education and strong leadership for its students, creating an environment for greater educational and personal growth.
