Concordia University is a public research university in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Established in 1974, following the merger of Sir George Williams University and Loyola College, it is one of three universities in Quebec where English is the primary language of instruction. Concordia has over 39,000 students attending classes on two campuses; the Sir George Williams campus sits in the heart of downtown Montreal while the Loyola campus is located in the Notre-Dame-de-Grace neighborhood. With 11 faculties, 5 schools, and over 400 programs, Concordia offers a wide range of studies and areas of inquiry from Arts and Science to Fine Arts, Engineering, and Commerce.
