Springfield College

Springfield College is an independent, coeducational institution of higher learning located in the city of Springfield, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1885 by Dr. Joseph Augustus and is affiliated with the YMCA movement. The college offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and is one of only 23 colleges and universities nationwide that are both regionally accredited and affiliated with the YMCA. The student body consists of approximately 4,000 students, representing various backgrounds and cultures. The college also offers a range of extracurricular activities, such as intramural sports, campus organizations, and more than 50 varsity sports teams.
