Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College is a small, private Roman Catholic liberal arts college located in Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana. Founded in 1840, it was the first Catholic college for women in the United States. The college is rooted in the tradition of the Sisters of Providence, an organization of Catholic nuns devoted to helping those in need.
