California State University, Chico is a comprehensive public university located in Chico, California, about 90 miles north of the capital city Sacramento. It is one of the 23 campuses of the California State University system and is the second-oldest campus in the system. Chico State offers nearly 300 undergraduate and postgraduate programs across seven colleges – Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Humanities and Fine Arts, Natural Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and University College.
