Talladega College

Talladega College is a historically black college located in Talladega, Alabama. Established in 1867 as a result of the reconstruction era, Talladega College was the first private Historically Black College in Alabama. The college is steeped in history, having educated a diverse group of students such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Langston Hughes. Talladega College offers students numerous opportunities to get involved in their community, with over 50 student organizations and clubs. The college offers an array of academic programs, from Business Administration and Computer Science to Liberal Arts and Engineering. Talladega College also has one of the most successful athletics programs in the state of Alabama, with Division II and NAIA teams boasting state and national championships in various sports.
