Morehouse College is a historically black college located in Atlanta, Georgia. The college was founded in 1867 by a group of ministers and philanthropists and it was the first private institution of higher learning for African American men. Today, more than 2,100 students attend Morehouse College, pursuing undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees in a range of fields. The college offers a wide variety of undergraduate degree programs, as well as a number of post graduate and doctoral degree programs. In addition to academics, Morehouse also offers an extensive range of social, cultural and extracurricular activities, allowing students to explore their interests and make connections within their communities.
