The United States Air Force Academy is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and is a four-year military academy which provides an education in engineering, aviation, international relations and military history. Established on April 1st, 1954, the Academy has graduated almost 200,000 officers into the United States Air Force and other services since its inception. Along with standard higher education programs, cadets also receive leadership training and experience in military subjects such as basic tactics and protocol. Essentially serving as a gateway to the world by launching the careers of some of the greatest men and women in American history, the US Air Force Academy continues to serve as a symbol of unparalleled excellence in education and achievement in the pursuit of freedom and justice.
