Schreiner University is a private university located in Kerrville, Texas. It is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and founded in 1923 by the Reverend Charles Schreiner. The campus covers 300 acres and includes two dormitories and ten apartment buildings, a library, two state-of-the-art technology centers, academic and administrative buildings, two student-life buildings, and athletic fields. Schreiner is committed to providing an environment that promotes excellence, integrity, and personal growth. The university values diversity and encourages critical thinking and the development of leadership skills through various activities and organizations. In 2012, the school was selected for the Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) award.
